Refund Policy
Last updated: 1 September 2026
This Refund Policy explains how payments for CausaQuant subscriptions are treated. It should be read together with the billing section of our Terms of Service.
1. All payments are final
CausaQuant subscriptions are non-refundable. Payments already made — whether the first payment on a new subscription or a renewal payment — are not refunded, in whole or in part, including for partially used billing periods. Please evaluate the Service before paying: the public research pages and distribution feed show the product working on our house assets, and free Beta trials (Section 3) exist precisely so invited users can try the full product before subscribing.
2. Cancellation stops future billing
You can cancel your subscription at any time from the account page, free of charge. Cancellation takes effect immediately: it stops all future billing and ends dashboard access right away. To avoid being charged for another month, cancel before your renewal date. Cancelling does not refund amounts already charged.
3. Free Beta trials
Invited members of our Beta program can run a limited number of assets free for a fixed trial period, with no payment method required. Beta trials end automatically and never convert into a charge on their own — continuing past the trial requires you to subscribe and pay explicitly. Because nothing is charged, nothing needs refunding.
4. Billing errors and duplicate charges
This policy covers intentional purchases, not mistakes on our side. If you believe you were charged in error — for example a duplicate charge, a charge after a completed cancellation, or an amount that does not match the displayed price — email contact@causaquant.com from your account email with the charge date and amount, and we will investigate and correct genuine billing errors. Corrections of billing errors are processed by Dodo Payments, our merchant of record, back to the original payment method.
5. Statutory rights
Some jurisdictions grant consumers refund or withdrawal rights that cannot be excluded by contract. Nothing in this policy limits any such non-waivable statutory rights, and purchases are also subject to the buyer terms of Dodo Payments as merchant of record. Where those rights apply, they apply; in all other cases, Section 1 governs.
